This was a beautiful, historic hotel. I did appreciate the size of our room. The only problem we encountered was we had to circle around until there was an opening for us to pull our car in to drop off our luggage and the car park is a bit of a walk away. I would definitely stay here again though.

Although the room was small , the staff ( notably Christy , Head Concierge, and Anita from Helena’s) more than made up for it . We loved our stay and will definitely return. The breakfast was the best we had during our week in Ireland .

Lovely welcome by receptionist and complementary homemade lemonade. Beautiful hotel with fascinating history. We really enjoyed or short 2 night stay. Bathroom room could do with modernisation and the windows didn’t keep out all external noise. I would stay again but upgrade from a standard room.

Charming historic hotel near all the Cork attractions. A local we spoke to described it as “the nicest hotel in Cork” and I have to agree. The front desk is very focused on ensuring guests have a wonderful stay. Definitely recommend if your travels bring you to this part of Ireland.
