Best hotel visit ever!!! The breakfast was amazing, the property was very clean and cozy. The staff treated you like family. We had are going to miss them dearly. Also great location easy walking to scenic places or very short transit ride. Close to metro .. very peaceful just off the busier streets. You can't go wrong with this hotel!!! So highly recommend it

Fantastic location and a very quiet hotel despite being just a block from all the traffic and noise. Very clean and modern room and super nice and helpful staff. Perfect location to get around both on foot and close to public transportation. Very nice bathroom but sink and toilet seat is crammed in so if you are like me 182cm long you can not sit straight which was a bit inconvenient. Very quiet from outside, but sounds from corridor could be heard very clear. There is a gap between door and floor. But hotel is small and not much movement so it never bothered me. Location is perfect for first time visitors to Istanbul where you can spend a day in the outside chaos and noise and come home to a comfortable and quiet room. Very good and quiet A/C. Tried to communicate with the hotel before arrival both via two different a-mail addresses and via here at Hotels,com but there was no reply making me a bit nervous before arriving. But understand after talking to them that calling them on the phone is best option. Did not tried their breakfast so can not comment on that. I will definitely book this again if I come back.

The staff at FAMA Karaköy are incredibly friendly and go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. They do an excellent job of keeping the hotel rooms spotless. In fact, this hotel is the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in, and I’ve been to many high-end, expensive hotels. When it comes to helpfulness, the staff truly excels. I lost my wallet during my stay, and they were incredibly supportive—they checked everywhere, asked surrounding shops, reviewed security cameras, and did everything possible. Fortunately, my wallet was found. The cleaning staff is also outstanding, always maintaining high standards. I would definitely return to this hotel and highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

So close to Galate Bridge but also on a side-street so it is very convenient and not noisy at the same time. It is a very short walking distance to T1 Tram so you can easily go to Old City. The hotel is very new and the staffs are very helpful too. I definitely will stay here if I go to Istanbul again.

Lovely boutique hotel

We moved to this hotel after having a miserable couple of days at a different one in the area and wow it was the right decision! Loved everything about this hotel, from the boutique feel (11 rooms total!) to the extremely welcoming staff (got served coffee and cake at check in) to the nice little rooms and comfortable beds. Soundproofing is also very good considering the very busy location (its position off the main road in a quiet side street definitely a plus). Overall a great experience!

We couldn’t reach the hotel And we booked another hotel The hotel non reachable and when we talked with the staff they told us to park 5-7 min away and pay for it When we ask about the luggage they didn’t answer and didn’t show us these to the hotel We spent 45 min going round and around looking for the hotel but no use 😡😡😡 We could see the parking but couldn’t reach the hotel

Tolle Unterkunft, sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal. Der einzige Minuspunkt ist die durchsichtige Glasschiebetür zwischen Zimmer und Toilette. Eine Privatsphäre auf der Toilette ist dadurch leider nicht vorhanden.

Das Zimmer war eine bessere Kategorie und das hat sich gelohnt. Die Lage des Hotels ist zentral, allerdings nur zu Fuß und mit Google Maps gut zu erreichen. Das Frühstück ist mit Liebe gemacht und für ein paar Tage ok. Für länger wird es zu langweilig.

Die Unterkunft ist zentral im Ort Istanbul Karaköy. Man kann den Taksim Square oder den Dolmabahace Palace in 30 Minuten zu Fuß gut erreichen. Es ist auch sehr nah an der Brücke zum Ortsteil Eminönü. Das Hotel ist nah an Karaköy Port, von wo man ein Boot/Schiff zur asiatischen Seite nehmen kann. Das Hotel bietet Kaffee und Tee ohne Kosten. Ich fand die Badezimmer Situation nicht sehr privat, weil die Glasstür nicht ganz zu geht und man durch das Glass sehen kann.
