Staff was very friendly, and room was clean. Good location. Only concern was horrible smell in the bathroom that was mild to start and grew worse over two days. It smelt like a bad sewer. Also, air conditioning worked but was not cool enough considering warm temperatures outside. Cleaning staff opened our windows and they were open until late evening when we returned. That made it harder to cool room down for sleeping. Staff was very friendly but never asked how things were during our stay.

This was a great little hotel. The location is great (2 minute walk from the Duomo). Great restaurants in the little piazzas behind it. The famous tripe sandwich truck is right around the corner! We loved the staff. The hotel is small so they know you well. Never had to ask for anything - fresh towels and clean room everyday. We added the breakfast and that was great - the woman who runs breakfast is wonderful. I would absolutely stay here again.

The room is a little outdated and not super comfortable, but they make up for it with their extremely friendly staff and perfect location. It was really nice to be right in the middle of everything and be able to make a quick stop at our room throughout the day between activities. They also stored our luggage so we could make the most of our first day before check in. We didn’t do the breakfast, but it smelled amazing in the lobby every morning so I’m sure it was good!
