This is the nicest Quebec City hotel we have stayed in. Despite being right on a very busy pedestrian street, it was wonderfully quiet in our room. Although there is no parking at the hotel, it is very convenient to the City Hall underground parking garage at $20 Canadian a day, enter from Cote de la Fabrique, and the pedestrian exit is near the corner of Rue des Jardins and Rue Sainte Anne. Breakfast was delicious and reasonable for a tourist town. The staff was friendly and helpful and bilingual. Will definitely plan to stay there again.

It is a perfectly located hotel for joining local tours and proximity to the Fairmont. Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has a very nice restaurant on the ground level (le bouchette) where you can get food anytime of the day. The room was charming with a “woodsy” cabin decor. Only challenge was climbing the stairs to the top floor (no elevator) after dinner/beverages. Overall the experience was great.

It was a great location with very helpful and welcoming staff. The bartender was great. One shower was not built for 6’4 but the other was just fine. Would highly recommend if you’re ok with stairs!

This was our first time staying at Auberge Place D’ Armes. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Charles. The manager, he greeted us with a big smile. Offered to bring our bags in. Also offered to come with us to the parking lot at the Hotel De Vilie; he wanted to ensure that we parked in the best place with the shortest, walk back to the auberge. All the stuff was extremely friendly and helpful, but Charles went above and beyond. Even asked what time you were leaving the next day and offered to bring car but more than that wanted to say goodbye. We will definitely stay there again.

We stayed in the beautiful and comfortable Loft Room on top floor. Had great bathroom with tub and separate shower; also a full kitchen, and two king beds and plenty of seating areas and dining table. It is as quiet even though looking down over busy restaurant area. Best of all were all the friendly staff, aka s smiling and ready to help. They greeted and asked each day if we needed anything. And they n final night they had a Taxi ready at 3:30am to get us to our early flight. Can’t wait to return. Thank you.
