Really enjoyed my stay at the Muir. The hotel pays attention to the little details, the rooms are beautiful, and even though it’s right on the waterfront it was surprisingly quiet. It never felt crowded, which I appreciated. We did have a fire alarm around midnight and everyone had to evacuate to the boardwalk. It turned out to be a false alarm, but the staff handled it well and even took my room service off the bill as an apology. Nice gesture that they didn’t have to make. I’d definitely stay here again.

Our stay at the Muir Hotel was exceptional (our second time staying at The Muir). From the moment we arrived, the level of service was outstanding. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming, incredibly professional and genuinely eager to help. Their attention to detail and commitment to making our stay special truly set this hotel apart. The rooms are absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed and luxurious without feeling overdone. Every detail has been carefully considered, creating a relaxing and upscale atmosphere. The location is also unbeatable. Being right on the Halifax waterfront made it easy to explore the city, with amazing restaurants, shops and attractions all within walking distance. The Muir delivers a true luxury experience in every sense. The exceptional hospitality, pristine accommodations, and incredible attention to detail made this one of the best hotel stays we've ever had. It's an easy 10/10, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Halifax. We can't wait to come back!
