While we encountered several issues during our stay, (a fire evacuation after midnight our first night and problems with the air conditioner during a heat wave), I am giving the Tribe the highest rating because the staff worked hard to remedy everything. They responded quickly and efficiently to fix things. I like and respect that the hotel doesn't skimp on front desk help - so many places have one person doing everything - not the Tribe, several people staffing the front desk and restaurant. Hotel was in a good location, clean, had a nice vibe, and the breakfast was delicious with lots of excellent choices. Gym was clean with new equipment and the dining area was very nice with greenery and peaceful spaces, all for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend the Tribe.

Hotel is stylish and clean. Staff is helpful. Location is very convenient There’s one down side - if you are assigned to a room in the ‘mezzanie’ floor, you will have to carry your luggage walking a few stairs up and down. It wasn’t too bad, but it would be ideal if I have been told this - not everyone is fit enough to lift large suitcase to walk up stairs.

Rooms are quite dark; having a floor lamp or proper lighting for the desk would be a nice improvement. Small adequate gym for a hotel with some dumbbells and a couple of machines. The location was ideal. It was close to the Bahnhof and tram stops. The room was good size and clean. The body lotion, conditioner bottles, tissue box were empty and were not refilled before the guest arrived. Also, the noise outside could be heard inside the room, which woke me up at 6 a.m.

Weekend in Dusseldorf/NRW

This was an excellent base for a weekend of travelling around Dusseldorf and the nearby cities. It is very close to the Hauptbahnhof which was a key factor in making the booking. Other attractions in Dusseldorf are all in short walking distance. The rooms were very pleasant and the breakfast variety was good. Staff were very friendly with excellent English. Would definitely recommend.

I enjoyed my stay but the bathroom light and some electrical outlets around the bed were not working in my room. Other than that I had no problems with my stay. The inclusion of water faucets with filtered water around the hotel was a great touch.
