Service here is superb - a lot of very well trained staff to serve your every need. Amazing to be able to use the à la carte restaurants as an alternative to buffet at both lunch and dinner. Kids accommodated for very well. Big range of cocktails and premium drinks. App for ordering drinks to your lounger / table without having to move! Sheer indulgence. Much better presented, tended and maintained than any of the other beachfront hotels in this area.

We came as a couple for a four-day wedding anniversary stay. The location was excellent. Compared to every other property surrounding it, this is the best: understated yet luxurious, quiet yet family-friendly, and meticulously maintained. We had a lovely room for two with a jacuzzi on the balcony that made for some nice memories. The grounds are lovely, both family-friendly and couple-friendly, as there are quiet spaces set aside for adults only as well as spaces for families with kids. The food was amazing; we gorged ourselves a bit. The staff was wonderful. Here we send a special shout-out to Vural bey for making our anniversary celebration one to remember through his generosity. Also, Tugba hanim was very kind and helpful to us in the first day. I'd love to list everyone in the wait staff by name, but the space is not nearly enough. The other guests are wonderful, too. Barut Hemera is very highly recommended, if you plan to stay in Side. Don’t even consider any of the other options.

Fantastic hotel ,I cannot fault it . The staff are friendly, efficient and very welcoming. The rooms are luxurious modern and clean. The food is extremely good plentiful and varied. The international restaurant and Sandals are of a very high standard. I have stayed in many hotels in Turkey and the Barut Hemera is the best .

Excellent hotel with even better staff and I would return again. If I wrote all the great things, this review would be very long. There are a couple reasons why I can’t give it a perfect score though but they are simple to rectify. The heated pools are at 26 degrees, ourselves and other guests agreed this was probably too cold to relax in and made me regret the extra amount for a swim up room. The AC didn’t go below 22 degrees, we are used to sleeping quite cold and not being able to control this is disappointing and led to slightly uncomfortable nights. Finally, the shampoo given doesn’t lather and didn’t clean my wife’s hair, it’s the first thing we had to buy shampoo on a holiday But I must reiterate, we had a great time there and would recommmend it

As we are vegetarian , food was really good with various options in every meal . We did a few fine dinning options during our stay and the chef went out of way to accommodate our vegetarian and dietary needs . Special curated drinks were made on requests . My family and I stayed at Barut Hemera during the low season in February. I was concerned about the amenities as our vacation was during winter, but the hotel exceeded our expectations in terms of restaurant options, activities and hospitality services. Our kids, 9 and 15, had a relaxing time, spending time at the pool, the sauna and the Turkish hamam. Every meal was amazing with lots of options across cuisines. We also enjoyed the a la cart seafood restaurant called Sandal, which offered a great feast. Lastly, every single employee at the hotel was warm, accommodating and with a simle on their faces. Barut Hemera is going to be on top of our list for our next vacation in Turkish south.
