My room had a persistent smell of smoke, which I reported to reception upon arrival. Unfortunately, no spare rooms were available and despite staying for a week, the issue was not resolved, leaving me with little choice but to sleep with the balcony door open slightly at night. This also meant being woken early each morning by the roadworks outside the hotel. While the roadworks were outside the hotel’s control, the noise was more noticeable as I needed to keep the balcony door open due to the smell in the room. I also feel the curtains would benefit from a thorough cleaning as the smoke smell seemed to be coming from them. Also the room only gets cleaned every 3-4 days while on a long stay which didnt help this issue. On a positive note, the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming to both myself and my mother, who stayed in a separate room. The location is excellent, with most amenities conveniently close by. Overall, the stay had some positives, but the smell of smoke in the room significantly affected my comfort during the week.

This hotel is in a great location - just a 5 minute stroll from Margaret Bridge. The reception and bar area are very nice and the staff were excellent. The room was a little dated but very comfortable nonetheless. I would definitely stay in the NH Budapest City again.

Perfect location, needs new management

Perfect location, comfortable bed and nice staff. Sadly absolutely dirty rooms, elevators were not working, no room service. Seems like need a management overhaul
