The hotel was basic in facilities but it was clean and the owners friendly. It is close to the beach so a swim before breakfast is a must. 10 minute walk to the historical part of Paraty where there are many good restaurants and tasteful shops.

Cute yet overpriced.

The reception staff were lovely. The breakfast was very basic and we didn’t have high expectations. Obviously it was way out of price during carnival (probably double of what it’s worth) but we were grateful for having been able to book 3 nights at last minute after a cancellation they had. The aircon worked well, the shower had low pressure but worked fine. The room is relatively small and had no tables nor surfaces, so we had to place our things on the floor. The balcony was spacious. What bothered me a lot was all the noise mad by the cleaning staff early morning including music being played so you better be an early riser otherwise you’ll be awaken by the cleaning staff cleaning a room not far from you. The location is great, close to the sea, close to historic centre. TV was small but it worked well. Overall it’s cute, just overpriced.

I received a WhatsApp message from the property on the day of my arrival, which has conveniently been deleted, stating that the property didn't have a room available. I didn't see the message until I arrived at the property, but it had asked me to go to another property that cost less, had a less ideal location, and lower reviews. At arrival, they then put my friend and I in a room with one bed that was tiny, *absolutely disgusting*, and was not in the main building. The manager, without prompting, offered to refund this night, which I politely accepted. The next day, we got moved to the correct room, but it did not have any hot water for a shower, so we got moved AGAIN, to another lower quality room without a balcony. One out of the two beds was rock hard so my friend and I ended up having to share a bed. Several days after my stay no refund was issued so I reached out to Hotels.com and the property denied the refund and deleted their WhatsApp message. I've never left a bad review or complained to any service provider before, but this was a terrible experience.

A pousada é realmente o que mostra nas fotos, arrumada, limpa e com uma equipe bem prestativa. O café da manhã é simples mas atende bem ao necessário. Os quartos são limpos diariamente, toalhas e roupas de cama trocadas se solicitado. Tive um (micro) problema com insetos por conta da chuva constante e de um compartimento de madeira anexado em nosso quarto, porém foi resolvido. A localização é ótima, de fácil acesso à praia do Pontal e 5min do centro Histórico.

A pousada tem uma localização maravilhosa, perto do centro, em frente ao mar, o quarto é agradável, a pousada em si é boa, agora tive um problema na minha chegada, os travesseiros estavam sem capa e com mofo, a cama não parecia feita, não tinha toalhas, solicitei tudo e foi atendido, mas achei bem desagradável essa situação, tirando isso minha estadia foi boa.

O grande destaque é a localização: excelente, a poucos minutos de caminhada do Centro Histórico e de frente para a belíssima Praia do Pontal\. A estadadia foi muito agradável, porém o Wi-Fi não funcionava no quarto onde ficamos. Outra sugestão é colocar ganchos para pendurar as toalhas no quarto porque com o frio as toalhas não secavam no banheiro. Outra coisa como nós éramos em 4 não havia mesa para 4 então toda vez tínhamos que juntar as mesas e a funcionária fazia questão de que nós, hóspedes, colocássemos a mesa no lugar que particularmente achei deselegante da parte dela. No mais indico a pousada pois vale o custo benefício principalmente pela localização, dá pra fazer tudo a pé.
