The hotel itself and the lobby look great — they are well kept, clean and give a very good first impression. However, considering this is supposed to be a 5-star hotel, I was very disappointed with the condition and cleanliness of our room.
There was a blood stain on the bedsheet, which we only noticed the following morning. We reported this to the manager, who assured us that all the sheets would be changed. However, when we returned, the bed had simply been made and the same stained sheet was still on it. We spoke to the cleaner, who said she had not been told to change the sheets, so we asked her to replace everything, which she did.
The bathroom was also disappointing, with unusual stains on the walls and what appeared to be black mould around the shower silicone. By the second day, there was also a strong sewage smell coming from the bathroom.
The breakfast was very basic, and given the price of a three-night stay, I found the overall experience underwhelming and certainly not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel.
To be fair, the manager did send us a bottle of Brut as a gesture, which we appreciated. However, this did not make up for the issues we experienced during our stay.
