We booked a family room and we were given two intercoonected rooms. Both rooms were massive with lots of space to keep our belongings. Easy access from train station and bus stop was 50 metrers away. residential neighbour hood that felt safe. 15 mins to Grand place by taxi. Staff was very helpful and polite and explained everything calmly. It was heatwave and airconditiong was life saver. room had everything from coffee making facilty to hair dryer. Bathroom seemed newly renovated and beds were comfortable. A small improvement can be a smart tv where guest can connect their netflix/amazon prime especially when we are travelling with kids. But definitely 10/10.

At check in we were told to wait since our room wasn’t ready, even though it was after 15:00. Soon others showed up and got checked in so finally at 15:30 we tried the counter again, this time with another employee and got the key card. So guess the first person forgot about us. I wonder how long we would’ve sat there if we didn’t go to the counter a second time… when we then got to the room an employee locked themselves into our room while we were unpacking . I assume he wasn’t aware we were there so maybe some misalignment among staff. He excused himself and left. The WiFi signal was horrible to be honest. It did not work what so ever. Other than that, it was great. Spacious and clean room, bed and pillows were comfortable .

We had a lovely time at this hotel; although there were renovations taking place which we weren’t aware of (which woke us up around 8am on day 1) the staff were happy to move us to a different floor where the renovations weren’t audible. Great customer service! And the hotel itself is beautiful inside.

The room was clean but decor and bath quite shabby. Staff were helpful polite and pleasant. The room was very large. There were a few points which rather spoilt it. Minor complaints were that the restaurant wasnt open for lunch at weekends or on sunday evening and that the sound on the tv wouldnt go above 30, also the shower was very antiquated and taps almost falling out of the wall. My major complaint is that the bathroom stank of sh*t which if one didnt ALWAYS close the door permiated thebedroom. .

The hotel staff were very hospitable and friendly. We did face an issue on the first day due to repair work in the adjoining building, which created a very disturbing noise due to the drilling. However, the hotel staff were very quick to accommodate and change our room promptly. Overall, a nice, cozy and comfortable stay. The surrounding area is very central offers good connectivity and eating / shopping options.

The property is close to everything within a tram ride to all shops, the hotel pretty old needs some updates or even renovations ( AC not working in our room ) weather has been cool so was not too bad we left the windows open but not all the way due to high floor. Antonia and new trainee was very nice to accommodate us for whatever we needed.

The hotel was great and beds were comfortable. The only issue we had was the mini fridge was very small and the water in the shower was so hot and we couldn’t cool it off. The taps were pretty old and loose. But at least it wasn’t freezing lol
