The location was great. The metro station is directly under/next to the hotel, which makes public transit a breeze. The hotel is right on one of the main streets & next to a plaza, so there are a ton of restaurants, cafes, grocery stores etc…. It felt very safe & pedestrian friendly, and things were still bustling late into the evenings so that you could keep exploring. Gamla Stan was a leisurely 30 min walk or 6 min metro ride, and Södermalm is a really nice part of the city with some great sunset views. The room was fine, shower was reasonably good, and the bed was really comfortable with good pillows. There was a small electric kettle with instant coffee packets & tea, or you could purchase coffee in the lobby. There are so many amazing bakeries/cafes in the area that I just went there instead.

The hotel is super convenient right next to a metro station so getting around anywhere in the city is easy. We also found it easy to walk up the road and into the old town. There were plenty of good restaurants nearby. We didn’t find the room noisy, with the window closed it did block out a lot of street noise. The curtains were great super blackout and the bed really comfortable. The AC in the room though wasn’t very good. I think they’ve been set so you can’t adjust it so it didn’t come out very much and also wasn’t very cool. We ended up just opening the windows. The bathroom was clean, fairly basic but worked fine. Breakfast was really good and had a tasty selection of food and drinks. I would recommend the hotel we slept well, enjoyed the breakfast and found the location handy.

I think the hotel’s location is excellent. Overall, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The furniture in the room had been renovated, and the bed was comfortable. However, the bathroom was very small, and I didn’t like that there was only a shower curtain instead of a shower enclosure. I also didn’t like that the windows could not be opened. Even though I increased the temperature using the air conditioner, the room never felt warm enough. Although I requested daily housekeeping when I checked in, only the trash bins were emptied and the floors were not cleaned. After I mentioned it again a few days later, the staff were helpful and addressed the issue. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, especially for solo travelers, as it feels safe and is a good choice for those traveling alone.

I was delay in an airport. Couldn't reach for confirmation of late arrival. The room was paid for. Got there a day late. Since I did not called to mention the late arrival. They had cancelled my reservation and rented my room to someone else. They at first didn't want to credit me and wanted to keep my money. Thanks to Expedia's personnel who's telephone help me to get a refund. But still I needed (in rush) a room. They rented me 2 nights at near the price of my previous rental. I fell like I was robbed. Then I had to relocate for the rest of my stay. What a robbery. When a room is paid for, I should be able to use it or not !!!
