Travelling From Sydney to Adelaide on a road trip, I needed one more night to break the trip to be more comfortable, and chose Renmark as an ideal midpoint between Swan Hill and home. Just on the edge of the city centre, The Citrus Valley Motel was a ideal place,. While on the highway, traffic noise wasn't a concern. Checkin and parking was easy despite a large van, and the room was spacious and had all the basic ameniites that you need in a country motel.

The room was clean, beds comfortable, the room itself is a bit dated and bathroom really small, there is a step into the shower so might be a bit awkward for some peopel. The property is within walking distance around 700 metres of shops, chemist and dominoes, a patisserie, if you walk a bit further there is the renmark club and renmark hotel for meals.

Happy with everything

We booked a standard room for 2 nights. It had ALL the amenities we needed for bathroom and kitchen. It even had an electric blanket. We were happy with everything. If you are happy to stay in an older style motel (no problem for us), with a multi-purpose sink (bathroom and kitchen combined) it is good place to stay.
