The excellent staff, breakfast, and hospitality is overshadowed by the fact that there is a loud open club directly across from the hotel that goes on to 2 or 3am. If you want a sea view, you have to put up with that other factor. I only had about 3 hours of sleep a night.

The Hotel location was excellent and just a short walk from The Lanes. The breakfast was also excellent with pretty much something for everyone. The beds were very comfortable and the room we stayed in ( room 110 ) had an excellent beach view. My only complaint was the street light was right outside the window and shone directly into the room even with the very thick curtains you could see it so for some people it would have been a nightmare. For us it wasn't a problem as we kept one of the bedside lights on all night anyway as due to getting up in the night for the toilet in a strange place is always a worry. Truthfully we did pay quite a lot for the room which was to be honest a bit dated and could have done with a bit of modernisation but all things considered we had an excellent stay.

My stay at the Queens Hotel was generally very nice. The overall experience, cleanliness, and hospitality were pleasant, and it provided a comfortable base. However, my only real drawback was during the peak of the hot summer weather. When I kindly asked the front desk if they could help replace or provide a more effective fan for the room, they unfortunately didn't manage to help. The fan provided wasn't up to the job of keeping the room cool during the heatwave, which made it a bit difficult to sleep comfortably. Aside from that one hiccup with room temperature control during hot weather, everything else was good. With a bit more attention to guest comfort during warm spells, this would easily be a 5-star stay.
