Very comfortable sleep, perfect room temperature not overly hot in the bedroom like you find in some hotels. Breakfast was great a mixture of buffet and menu picked traditionals cooked to order. The Spa area changing rooms are a little small and a bit dated but overall satisfactory. The pool is large with some water features, also there is a cold plunge, jacuzzi, steam and sauna rooms. Great location for the town everything within walking distance and a good car park.

The pool was lovely, although the plunge pool wasn't working and the water was a little bit on the cold side. We still really enjoyed it. Rooms were clean and breakfast was lovely. Definitely will return.

4/10 Fair

Lovely staff and great food but was charged twice to my card before id even arrived, when I had booked to pay at the hotel. The staff were really kind and helpful and did what they could to reassure me they would solve it but I’ve still not recieved my refund. I’m down a lot of money that should never have been taken and it’s been 3 days so far. My room was a little tatty, hairs all in the bathtub, stains on the bed linen, loo roll half full etc.. overall I wasn’t thrilled but I certainly would have been a lot happier if I wasn’t charged twice and still waiting for my refund. As it currently stands I’ve paid nearly £300 for a room that was very basic and it was taken without my approval .
