Our recent stay at Ritz Carlton was a mixed bag, with some truly lovely aspects and a few areas that could use attention. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, but a couple of key points kept it from being exceptional.
A more significant setback, however, was the food. We were excited to try the on-site restaurant, but the experience left us wanting more. The menu was fairly limited, with not a lot of variety, and the dishes we tried were just okay. It wasn't bad, but it also wasn't memorable. The flavors were a bit bland, and the presentation lacked the kind of flair you'd expect from a hotel restaurant. Breakfast was a similar story—a standard continental offering with nothing that really stood out. For a hotel of this caliber, we were hoping for a more creative and delicious dining experience. This was a real missed opportunity and meant we ended up eating most of our meals elsewhere, which wasn't our original plan.
On the other hand, the service was truly fantastic. Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was incredibly friendly, professional, and went out of their way to be helpful. They were quick to respond to any requests and always had a smile
