Absolutely perfect

I took my dad here for his 60th birthday and the whole experience was incredible. Not only were the whole staff extremely friendly but the hotel was stunning and the attention to detail was amazing. We had an early flight to catch and the hotel made us a packed lunch which I’ve never experienced. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful boutique hotel , the rooms were very nice and comfortable, the breakfast was amazing. The swimming pool was really nice and the food at the pool bar was excellent too. The hotel staff was very nice, respectful. I would definitely go back there next year !

Beautiful pool, clean common areas, polite and welcoming staff. The breakfast was delightful with plenty of tasty selections. The hotel is conveniently located in town so everything is walkable to shops and restaurants. It’s also 1 block away from the bus stations for easy local transportation to Santo Wines or other nearby cities.

From the moment we walked in after pushing our luggage up the big hill we were welcomed with friendly and hospitable staff. Our room was beautiful and we absolutely loved the bottle of wine and fruit we were delivered. The drinks and cool towels were awesome touch. The staff organized our transportation and breakfast was to die for. We loved this place 5 stars.

Little Gem for our stay

First time in Santorini and what a place. Should be on everyone's bucket list. Hotel steps away from promenade so within walking distance of bars and restaurants for sunset. Staff at the hotel are so helpful and friendly from check in to departure there was nothing they could not help with. all the lovely ladies Elena/ Eleni and Soffia on Reception .. greeted everyday with a smile and a chat. Nickos our driver for the stay was a super guy ... we will be back . no doubt

DON'T stay at this hotel if you have a car

When our family choose to book Aressana SPA, we expected to have a pleasant and a very good customer experience. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. We rented a car and drove to hotel using the hotel address on Maps. The hotel is in a non-driving zone. That’s fine, but nobody told us that the hotel offered zero support for a family arriving and/or staying with a rented car. No parking lot. No valet. Their solution was “park at a supermarket parking lot nearby”. Well, I thought there would have some spots available for the hotel at the supermarket parking lot. But no. It’s just a lot for everyone. Terrible experience. One night, it took us 90 minutes to find a spot. Even worst was the hotel manager. On Saturday evening I asked to speak to him/her. The manager wasn’t there. That’s fine. I told the staff that I would leave on Tuesday morning and would like to have him/her call me or look for me. Well, the manager did not. That’s not what you expect from a SPA hotel. Again, going to a SPA hotel you would expect much more as a customer experience than the one our family had. So, if you plan to drive in Santorini, don’t stay at Aressana SPA. It was, by far, the worst hotel in our entire trip, and the most expensive.

I had a few very frustrating experiences to an otherwise nice stay. There were no instructions about arrival or parking, and after two calls to the property, it was still unclear that there was no parking and we couldn’t even drive the car to the hotel front door because the street was blocked. My family and I waited in the 100 degree weather for 15 mins trying to figure out how to get us and our bags to the hotel. The person I talked to on the phone gave very unclear instructions and didn’t really get it. Then, my brother booked a very expensive massage and his therapist was on her phone with one hand while massaging him with her other hand- he finally looked and saw that what she was doing and left the massage. When he discussed with the manager, she said she told her she was just controlling the room lights- no real apology. Not great service on either account.

This was the second time I have stayed at this hotel. The last time was in 2020 during covid. Once again we had an amazing stay. The staff are all so friendly and attentive. We took advantage of the transfer service from the airport to the hotel and also when we left to go to the ferry port. It was lovely getting collected in the hotel vehicle. Upon arrival in our room we received a bottle of rose and a large dish of fruit and cheese. This was a lovely touch. There was also a tray containing lots of little treats, including biscuits, cakes, oozo, a toiletry bag containing mini toiletries. There was bottled water in the fridge which was replaced daily. Our room was lovely and spacious. It was spotlessly clean. It was a triple room with a courtyard outside - room 52. The bathroom was huge with a walk in shower. We also had a walk in wardrobe. I would have liked more shelf space to store our belongings (suncream, etc). The pool area is beautiful. Although there are not a huge number of sunbeds we got a bed easily every day. The drinks and food served at the pool were lovely. The hotel is located on the main road in the centre of Fira but it is exceptionally quiet. It takes 20 seconds to see the sunset views. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Santorini is just beautiful and so is this hotel.

Relaxing and friendly stay at Aressana. Eleni at reception went over and above to recommend places to visit on the island and the best restaurants to avoid the crowds. Breakfast is all delicious and the staff everywhere are so welcoming.
