This hotel has old world charm and the grounds lead diwn to a stoney but very walkable beach for exercise, for which I was grateful after a 10 hour flight, and then a swim their indoor pool . My room was very clean and warm , receptionist very helpful , and a great breakfast buffet was a fabulous start next day . I chose this hotel due to easy distance from the airport , on the coast to rest up and was very happy with my choice .

We stayed 2 nights at the hotel and it gave us everything we needed. We didn't use any leisure facilities so can't comment on those. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We had an excellent bar meal one evening and breakfast both mornings (not cooked, just the continental offerings)

We really enjoyed the warm welcome from a very young staff and the stunning views from the sea facing room 140. Ideally the room would benefit from air conditioning. The hotel is ideally placed to explore Howth, Malahide and Portmarnock and close proximity of Dart rail allows you easy access into Dublin City

Excellent stay at Marine Hotel in Sutton. Room had a beach view which was stunning. The room itself was first class with a jacuzzi bath. Very spacious and immaculately clean. Free parking and very close to the railway station which took us straight into Dublin by train to Connolly station. Would def recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

From check-in it was so friendly and helpful and nothing was a problem even though we were early . We ate in the restaurant and the staff again were so fun and welcoming and we even met the chef who knew lots of patrons and the food was so professional and tasty . The view from the restaurant and outdoor area is amazing and makes it worth while just to see and the weather was great and all of Dublin was clear . The charm of the place and the friendly staff make up for a building that’s been loved and used for many years 🙏

Beautiful Room, didnt expect a suite ! Lovely view across Dublin Bay fron the back, Garden opens directly onto the beach. Checkin not til 3pm, no flexibility on that, but they let me leave my bag so I could mooch about til then , amd the reward is the Noon checkout ! Bus into Howth just outside The Hotel, and I got an ordinary Bus all the way from the Airport to The Dart Station at Howth Cross- if Id stayed on for 1 more stop I'de have been even closer ! and The Dart train just a 5 minute walk away, so it's easy to access by Public Transport -- which is way cheaper than in UK ! Lovely coffee machine in room as well as kettle-but No instructions and I couldn't work it out !

The room was enormous with a comfortable bed and view of the bay. The front desk staff was wonderful. The bathroom could use a little updating but was spacious. Breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular, a bit expensive for what you got and they were understaffed. Overall a great place to stay for location and price.
