The room was wonderfully cool, with an extremely comfortable bed. The shower was perfect with excellent water pressure and temperature. The bathroom amenities were of high quality and the towels were softer than clouds.

Lovely hotel, centrally located to all the touristy bits in Florence. Room was clean and comfortable. My room faced the back alley so there was a good amount of garbage truck noise but otherwise was quiet. Would stay again!

Wonderful stay at Hotel Balestri in Florence. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. Breakfast was incredible every morning—fresh juices, perfectly scrambled eggs, spectacular bacon, and great yogurts. The bar was fantastic too; the bartender mixed excellent cocktails. Rooms are on the smaller side, which is expected in a building from the 1860s, but that’s a minor note. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of everything. Highly recommended!
