From arriving at the front of the hotel, I did wonder what on earth I’d booked. But once I realised you just drive around the back of hotel for checkin. They are under going refurbishment apparently. I was greeted with a nice young man who was very welcoming. I asked where I could go to have a meal and was directed to a lovely pub/restaurant just up the road. Really good meal, again very welcoming. I had booked breakfast & was hoping to have a meal in the hotel, but received a message as soon as I had booked explaining restaurant closes after breakfast. Breakfast was fantastic, although way too much for me to eat. 2 nice ladies, very helpful. Asking what type of egg & tomato would I like. Plenty of choice if you don’t want a full English. Just help yourself, tea, coffee, juice, cereals, bread, fresh fruit. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had & I’ve stayed in many hotels.
Baron hotel- your staff are a credit to you. They go above & beyond. If I’m in the area, I won’t hesitate to book again.
The only negative I have to say is: Clearer instructions for where to go for checkin, as wasn’t clear.
