I love staying at Lucknham and it always feels like visiting a (very well to do) friend's house. It's relaxed but luxurious. The food was great both nights and the service was warm and efficient. We were primarily there for 2 nights to relax and use the spa (annual mother / daughter trip). We'd known the renovation was scheduled and had planned around the advertised dates, so it was really disappointing to see the hydrotherapy pool still boarded up and then builders there the entirety of each day making a lot of noise and smoking into the pool area every time they took a break. It would have been so much better to have pre warned guests this would be the case so they could make an informed decision on which dates to book...

Had a lovely stay as a pitstop on our way over to Devon & Cornwall. The staff here is generally friendly and helpful. The facilities are kept clean and the grounds are well maintained. Enjoyed the spa during family hours, too.

We had a wonderful stay here with our son, both sets of grandparents, and our dog, and it was perfect for everyone. From the moment we arrived, the first impression was fantastic. The spa was lovely and a great place to relax, and the food was brilliant throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious, although it did take a little while to arrive. The hotel is very family-friendly, with a lovely kids’ room and outdoor space that our little one really enjoyed. It’s also amazing for dogs, which made travelling with our pet so easy and enjoyable. We stayed in the 4-bedroom Grand Cottage, which was fantastic. Having private parking and easy access to all the facilities made everything very convenient. The staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it.

This hotel is always consistently 12 out of 10 ! Beds and pillow / rooms are excellent, so comfortable and quiet. Staff are so friendly and professional. The swimming pool and spa area was nice and the staff are lovely. The hotel itself is more a 3 to 4 star property. The service and amenities and standards are not there of a 5 star. It is a nice hotel but cannot compare to other 5 stars such as Cowarth Park, Four Seasons or Grantley Hall.
