I loved our stay at Casas De Baixa. It was our home away from home. We slept so well and the amenities were great! The washer and dryer were a bit difficult to operate, but it got the job done.

Great location but needs TLC

The good part is the location if you want to be in the center of the action. Many restaurants, shops, and sites within walking distance. The apartment was spacious, but with sparse furnishings. Living room has futon couch. It was made up as a bed which we didn’t need. We had to make it into a couch to have somewhere to sit. Some maintenance is needed. Walls were scratched up and need paint. Shower head was loose and held with tape. This place is a good price for the location, but could use some TLC.

Great location! The pre-checking on line was easy and we were able to acces the appartement at noon. The place as large Windows and a lot of light. We were a group of four friends, the sofa bed was not confortable.

Outstanding location, great apartment

We were pleasantly surprised about Casa da Baixa. Our unit was roomy and the location was simply outstanding. There is a coffee shop on the ground floor and two excellent restaurants just across the street. The cathedral is just up the hill. The train station is a 17 minute walk away, while the main plaza at the harbor entrance is 5 minutes away.

Easy to get the code and enter the building and your accommodation. Accommodation was very clean and quiet. The staff were quick to respond to messages. They were understanding and responsive to let us check in early when we asked them the day of our arrival into Portugal. This place is in a wonderful location close to lots of nice areas and shops and fantastic dining. Check in was very easy and flexible via lock box. The living space and kitchen were quite large. Minor downsides: - The responses from the property manager seem to be filtered through a chatbot or something and difficult to get specific requests answered quickly - the property is fairly sparsely furnished and decorated (fine for us as we didn't spend much time in it aside for sleeping) - the bed was not particularly comfortable.

The location was great, & the best restaurant com certeza! right across the street was wonderful, however the apartment left something to be desired. I felt like I was being assaulted by a fire hose in the shower, legitimately a painful experience, & the bed felt like laying on cement so we just slept on the futon sofa which was slightly better. The batteries also died on the in room safe so we couldn’t use that which was disappointing

Great location.

Great location. Quiet inside apartment. Lift. Spacious. Bed a bit squeaky. Shower head ridiculously powerful so wet the whole place through when turned on the first time (need to turn on slowly!) and the grout needs a good clean. It was however a large shower with plenty of hot water. Would be good to have a kettle - only has coffee pod machine. Was offered a mid stay clean but that never happened. Thankfully there were spare towels as I had piled the used ones up for collection. Car hire not recommended. No on-street parking nearby and car park approx €20 overnight Nowhere to leave luggage and we struggled to find anything locally. Would be good to have a reliable recommendation. This is hopefully constructive feedback as with a few tweaks it would be 5 star and I would recommend.
