Property was gorgeous and spotless. Staff was nice, let me know ahead of time about a closure for that weekend. Unfortunately i was sick my entire stay, so I got to know the room well, and it was comfy. It is next to a road that can get busy and loud, so I had to close the window at night. This hotel is absolutely fantastic! A real gem in Vienna. The location is great - close to transport and the neighbourhood of Spittelberg - but also walkable to the old town and Ringstrasse. The hotel itself is really well designed, the staff are great and the room was warm and cosy for our winter trip. Breakfast is fantastic - so much variety and all really nice food. We had a blast.

The Hotel Gilbert is a gem in the heart of Vienna. The location is perfect for many famous tourist sites, but it is tucked down a quiet side street so it isn’t noisy at all. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel itself is delightful. Comfortable rooms with plenty of amenities, helpful, and friendly staff and great food combine to make a wonderful stay. All four in our party were more than satisfied with our stay.
