Space and amenities were satisfactory

I briefly stayed at the Civic Hotel from 9 pm to 6 am. The room and bathroom were spacious, and the availability of free parking was a bonus.

Cheap & Cheerful

The civic is a cheap and cheerful hotel with helpful friendly staff. The parking and wifi are both good and both free.

Good Option Near to Heathrow

Conveniently located for my early morning flight from Heathrow - a 10min walk to the underground and 15mins on the underground. There was a bus stop immediately outside the hotel too - and a few shops next to the underground station.

We were looking for a modest price hotel in a convenient location, and this suited our needs. It was clean and in a good condition. The staff were under pressure during breakfast, but did their best. More staff could be employed. Overall for the price we paid it was what we expected.

Good room but spotted a mouse in it at night

Stayed for 1 night. Room and toilet was very clean. Thing to improve: We saw a mouse in the room when we returned in the night. That is a health hazard and not expected from hotel at this price especially given everything else was good about the room.

4/10 Fair

Clean hotel but extremely loud at night.

Would not recommend staying here if you’re needing decent sleep. Stayed here for 12 nights whilst working in London. I think there was only 1 night we weren’t awoken by noisy guests/airplane noise/ groups of males in the hotel car park through the night/ people arguing outside. The hotel itself is cleaned daily and the rooms were clean and well kept. The twin room we had was extremely small, just enough room between the beds to walk to the en suite. Car park is awkwardly shaped and if you have a larger vehicle it is next to impossible to leave the car park once other cars are parked up.

Great experience, will definitely book again. Free parking, great location to train station, 10 minute walk to Hounslow city centre. Comfortable room too. Netflix, bbc iplayer and other tv apps on TV to watch in deluxe room. Great shower and water pressure. Lovely towels and bathroom amenities. Had a few issues on check in with the original double room we checked into (wall socket not working and toilet seat broken) lovely reception was made aware and upgraded our room to deluxe room and catered to our needs. We didn’t have breakfast as we did not need it, but breakfast available to add upon check in. Overall 10/10 - Thank you :)

Great place to stay

Great staff, very welcoming and willing to answer any of our questions as tourists. The room was confortable and clean. The hotel is a 5 mn walk to the underground station and very convenient for it is situated in zone 5. I definitely will stay at the hotel again next time I go to London.

Man in a suitcase

The hotel was handy for I was workings The room I stayed in was clean and compact. Staff on reception were pleasant. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment. Overall okay for a two night stay

It was great, unfortunately no hot water first morning but it was fixed. Just an unforseen incident. Staff were friendly and was clean.

6/10 Good

The staff was very helpful. It would have been nice if the reception area was bigger. There needs to be bannisters that extend up the full length of the stairs. The price and location were very good.

Welcome was warm and helpful. Rooms show some signs of refurbishment though the passage ways were uneven and slightly dangerous with the walkway carpets that were laid down.

I stayed for one night. It was average to what I needed. If I was to stay there longer I probably wouldn't stay there.

Avoid

We stayed here for one night recently. The walls are paper thin. There was banging, crashing and shouting almost all night long.
