This hotel is an amazing little Low Cost Gem, located really close to the town center and attractions of Calais which is a great place to visit and spend some time in. Have stayed here previously and enjoyed this place both times.

This was a economically priced hotel which did exactly what was offered - a clean comfortable room which is fine for one night and close to two centre transport links.

Breakfast not a great deal on serial and toast and bald eggs could do with a full English breakfast room was super good and staff was polite

The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff made a very stressed Texan feel welcome and comfortable, during a very difficult time. Excellent place, excellent staff, and perfect location.

Ideal place to stay if you want to leave early the next morning by shuttle from Calais to Dover. Parking garage (for long term parking) opposite the hotel. Staff extremely friendly and helpful!

Good little hotel for an overnight stay, great location, 10 min walk to station and town. 20 min drive from EuroTunnel. We didnt eat, but the cafe/bar area seemed popular. MultiStorey Car Park adjacent, £11.00 for 24 hours, safe and secure parking.

Thanks massively to the guy who checked us in - very easy and quick. About 8 min walk from the train station. Lovely, quiet area. Room was clean and nice for one night's stay. Bar area was an added bonus and we returned to use it before leaving Calais. Thank you massively

Unexpected gem!

As a Part of the Eurostar tunnel strike, we unexpectedly wound up in Calais and were well taken care of by this no frills hotel! Lovely basic breakfast - I’ve not seen a “cook your own egg” set up -along with fresh bread, pastry, yogurt and juice. I’ll definitely return to Calais and to the Hotel Brit.

6/10 Good

It was a bit expensive for what it was. Fairly basic but clean and ok. Staff were welcoming and friendly though. So that made up for it a bit. Good town centre location. Although no offense street parking. So leave before 9am or you will get a ticket or towed there.

This hotel appears to be really sterile at first glance but it's a good place to stay when you're in Calais. As you can see in my photos, the hall and the doors are generic and nondescript. But inside the room, it was very clean and comfortable. There's nothing particularly special but my room was clean and quiet. The hotel is basically in the city center, although I think most people go to Calais for the beach, which is about a 20-30 minute walk from this hotel. And this hotel allows pets, which I always appreciate.

6/10 Good

The hotel is located in a good area where a shopping mall is within walking distance. The night staff member (tall man quite sluggish with glasses) was very rude, Full of attitude and just ruined our mood. He rudely shoved our wine glass and beer towards us which nearly tipped over. However the trip & hotel was good. Bed was a bit squeaky and scared if the bed would break due to the noises it made. All day time staff memebers where extremely nice & helpful except for the night time staff member. Ideally should be spoke to if not fired for the way he speaks to not only myself but other people I’ve witnessed
