We fell in love with our stay! The views of lake como were breath taking! The apartment is very safe and you have access to the lake as well. We got in and took a nice swim! We also loved how close the market was, approx. 8 min walk. Just make sure to take a backpack so you can put your groceries in. The apartment was spacious and equipped with utensils, plates, and pots. You would just want to sit at the balcony and contemplate the beauty of this magical place! I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!!😍

Clean rooms and an amazing location! The stay was very comfortable and everything was well maintained. The only downside was that there was no kitchen dish soap, dishcloth, or paper towels provided. Overall, it was a lovely experience and I would still recommend staying here.

Loved our stay!

The property was well equipped and very easy check in and check out. The view was amazing and staff very helpful. We stayed 5 nights and recommend staying here. It’s an easy walk to the ferry station too!

I travel a lot and I don’t recall ever rating a hotel or apartment this poorly. The position is undeniably great and the view from the deck is spectacular. However this did not make up for the poor standard of the apartment itself. The furniture appeared to be from a junk shop - not only old but mismatched, uncomfortable and dirty. The bed in the main bedroom was beyond hard. I couldn’t sleep on it and had to fold a duvet up to place under the sheet to make it softer. The bed covers were dirty and thin - looked like they were decades old and unwashed. The kitchen amenities were poor- again mismatch of odd pieces. No dish cloth to wipe the counter tops. Apart from the location and lake view the only redeeming feature was the bathrooms that were quite nicely renovated. Read the reviews on other websites (I hadn’t seen these when I booked!). Disappointing, and poor value for money.

We loved the location. The location was very convenient for walking around the town. Check in was very easy and communication with the booking office was always helpful. The apartment was clean and has a beautiful view of the lake with a private beach below. There are two items we felt should be addressed by the booking agent. The bath towels are worn paper thin and should be upgraded. The main bedroom had only one thin blanket which was not adequate for warmth. We had to take the quilts off the 2nd bedrooms beds. as is usual in most areas on the lake parking is an issue. We were able to find free available parking in the evening after the crowds had left. If you want parking on property, this is not available here.

We are 2 couples and absolutely loved the 2 large bedrooms with a balcony off both right on Lake Como. The office is conveniently right next door to get the keys and there is a great restaurant just a few feet in the other direction. Menaggio is a lovely, quiet town. There is a beautiful walkway along the lake with a surprise mini-golf course at the end! Easy walk to the ferry to get to the other towns, but expect long lines to get back on the ferry in Varenna and pure mayhem in Bellagio!!! Varenna is definitely worth visiting, though. We hiked up to Castel di Vezio one day, which is very strenuous but worth it!! The next day we visited Villa Monastero and its beautiful gardens. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and also has 2 bathrooms and a kitchen. There are dishes, pans, utensils, an electric water kettle, and an American-style coffee maker, but we had to buy coffee, dish soap and paper towels at the grocery store which we thought was a little strange since those are necessary kitchen staples. All in all, though, it was a wonderful place to stay!!!

The location is outstanding on many fronts, a short walk from the ferry stop, rental company for the keys, downtown area and local supermarket. You also have a great view off your balcony and AC functioned well in the home. The layout is a bit quirky with a staircase that goes to nowhere and a couple of couches in small spaces, but it was not a major issue for us. A thunderstorm knocked out our power one night, but maintenance was helpful in telling us where the breaker box was and how to reset. WiFi was inconsistent in picking up the network but eventually you will get it.

Gorgeous apartment literally on the lakefront! This apartment was very clean, spacious & a short walk to the ferry dock. Office staff was extremely helpful with transportation questions and the welcome gift was a pleasant surprise!
