The room was very clean. We were told at check-in that maid service would be provided every other day. It was provided almost daily with fresh towels provided on the only day without full maid service. Breakfast was extensive and excellent. We especially enjoyed the fresh honey with honeycomb.

Due to my transatlantic flight (with only 3 hours of sleep), I had asked weeks in advance to have my room ready earlier than the 3 pm house policy states; they finally assigned me (after various stops and goes at sinc 2 pm) my room at 3:20 pm. They compensated me for the late room assignment by offering a spacious room (which was wonderful). Yet, with such advanced notice, they should have been able to assign me a room around noon or so. Otherwise, no complaints.

The Dorint Kudamm is a hidden gem. The room was double the size of what you can expect from international hotel chains of the same class. Everything in the hotel was super clean. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and efficient. The breakfast was absolutely superb. The location was as central as you can do in Berlin, with easy access to several U- and S-bahn stations.

Rooms in this hotel are just huge! And there is enough room for clothes. The bathroom is superb. The carpets are dated but otherwise everything is perfect. Big flat-tv, the bed is huge. The location could not be better. Thanks again!

I liked the reception desk, the bar, and the staff. The room was large and very comfortable. We liked the the fact that the hotel had air conditioning since the temperature was abnormally high during out stay. The hotel is centrally located for both walking for shopping and restaurants, and also a great location to take advantage of Berlin's very extensive transportation network. We found Berlin a very enjoyable and relatively inexpensive city, especially when compared with similar European cities like Paris, Zurich, and Rome. The only annoyance we had was the number of people smoking right outside the entrance to the hotel every time we entered or exited - but that's not the hotel's problem but the city's regulations.
