Me & my wife stayed here for our first wedding anniversary and had an amazing time. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to make our stay extra special. This included putting flowers in our room as requested, they even upgraded our room free of charge when we checked in. Highly recommended!

Great location to the event venue. The train station is 10 minute walk, it’s ok even with a heavy suitcase. Very close to restaurants, shops etc. The bar is lovely, my only complaint is the Sunday Roast not available after 5pm, this was not advertised resulting in many disappointed people after a busy day at the event. The breakfast was good too

I’m not a fan of self service checkin/out but that’s just how things are going. The room met my needs, the breakfast options were great even managing to order a fried slice of bread as a holiday treat. Would have preferred that the bites menu was continued into the evening service as sometimes it is just too late for a full sit down menu. It was a shame that the pool table was a victim of the refurb and although there was a rather magnificent piano in that general location, it was never utilised. Hotel Perfectly located for access to the conference centre, will definitely book again for next year assuming availability allows.
