Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable and good location, handy for public transport into city. Option to hire ordinary bicycles would be good and not just e-bikes especially when travelling with teenagers. Did not find the staff to be the most friendly or helpful

Isolated but enjoyable hotel

Very nice hotel. Looks a little dated on the outside, but very nice inside, with many renovations completed. The bed was small however comfortable. Best part was the heating which worked very well, helping me recover from being under the weather for a few days. Enjoyed a great dinner at their restaurant, very nice atmosphere. And much praise to the front desk staff who were so helpful - thank you. Easy to reach by bus number 8 from Nijmegen central station. Overall, very enjoyable.

We had a leaky sink in our room due to a pipe ring being loose. For some reason, maintenance thought that was caused by our toiletry bags and the housekeeping staff putting towels under the sink. Not sure how towels and bags loosen a pipe ring. Either way, it was dealt with. The stay would have been more pleasant if not for the conference attendees for the bridge tournament, who were extremely rude and overly self-entitled, but that is not the hotel's fault. Having said that, I would seriously reconsider allowing them to book the hotel for further functions if you wish to retain repeat clients like ourselves. Ness in the restaurant was fabulous and a great asset to your company. She was attentive and professional and should be commended, especially putting up with the bridge conference attendees.

Disappointed but then happy(ish). Started in basement room but upgraded due to issues. Tiny basement room with an unforgiving metal bed frame that you bang into coming in/out of bathroom I have bruised legs after just one night. Basement feels forgotten about, broken coffee machine & hairdryer, missing wall decorations, mouldy bathroom, big gap behind bed so pillows fall behind bed, mattress sunken. Not enough sound proofing from upstairs, as deep sleepers we were kept awake by the reception area traffic in the night & AM. Glass door smashed upstairs at 2am'ish. This awoke us with panic and then the sound of cleaning for over an hour was horrible even after we went upstairs to find out. No apologies for any of the problems. We had to pay to upgrade to get away from the problems. The upgraded room was lovely, clean and comfortable, we stayed in the upgraded room for 2 nights and enjoyed it! Staff are super lovely, especially the British lady who checked us in and out. We loved the little treat when leaving, nice touch! We left happy, maybe we shouldn't have paid for upgrade due to the problems but the lady didn't have powers to change this, that's the only oversight apart from the basement room poor quality in contrast to the lovely standard double wet moved into.

Great points: Staff were helpful and professional when asked. Check in/out out was smooth. Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom is also spacious as well. Two separate beds but together as booked. Pillow selection on offer. Breakfast was included with a selection of warm and cold choices. View is lovely from the side/back of the hotel, especially restaurant area. Notable points: Beds were on the soft side. If you stay to the front of the hotel, there will be noise from everyone coming and going. Bring ear plugs. Rooms aren't completely soundproof. Most noise came from the balcony area. Pool limited but clean. Bring your own towel and/or bathrobe. Access is limited to the pool area due to swimming lessons in that little pool. Paid sauna only. Very limited place to work in the room. Wifi was spotty. No desk, just the little table in the picture on the website. For dinner at the hotel, make a reservation. Not so great points: Parking situation is bad. Limited space isn't comtroled. When people park badly taking 2 spots in a limited area parking is full most of the time. Lines aren't clearly noted. Non handicap car busted down in handicap parking. Overall: We will still go back in the future but book a better room towards the back of the hotel. As a last minute booking to be close to the hospital, this was our best option. Love the area and would.love the chance to explore it more.

When we drove in it felt scary because the area was so run down. We were pleasantly suprised that it was a nice hotel inside. The layout was very strange and hard to follow. Room was simple and did its job for a one night stay!

When we arrived the lights and power in our room and hallway did not work for about 90 minutes, after which the problem was fixed. I suppose it was okay as they let us check in early.

I had a very concerning experience at Fletcher Parkhotel. Due to an apparent booking/room allocation mistake, other guests were able to enter my room in the middle of the night (3am) while I was sleeping. What made the situation even worse was the hotel’s response. When I raised the issue with staff, they simply acknowledged that they knew about the situation. There was no meaningful explanation, apology, or attempt to address what had happened. Having strangers enter an occupied hotel room during the night is not a minor inconvenience — it is a serious privacy and security issue. I would have expected the hotel to take an incident like this extremely seriously and at the very least explain what went wrong and make sure I felt safe afterward. Unfortunately, the lack of response from the hotel was just as disappointing as the incident itself. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.
