Hotel Review – 3‑Night Stay Great location facing Madrid’s Royal Palace and the Sabatini Garden, just off Plaza de España. The rooms were clean on arrival, but several issues affected our stay. The shower temperature was almost impossible to control, constantly jumping between very hot and very cold. The central heating was also stuck on despite a broken thermostat, leaving the room uncomfortably warm even though it was 25°C outside. Staff acknowledged the fault but didn’t investigate or fix it. Our adjoining family rooms had persistent problems with the entry cards. Each day, one to four cards stopped working, requiring repeated trips from the 5th floor to reception. On one occasion, three family members waited outside while I made four trips up and down before staff finally came to the room to resolve it. Housekeeping cleaned the room but did not replace dirty wet towels one day. Breakfast was also disappointing - some empty food trays at 10am, poor‑quality sausages, and a coffee machine that had run out of milk.

Our experience at the hotel was great! Our room overlooked the Royal Palace and we were centrally located between two train stations. We also had multiple parks surrounding us and its an easy ride to the airport. There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel and I think they have laundry onsite too. They have a cozy rooftop deck, where I was the only person up there on multiple days. When we come back we will definitely stay here again

The hospitality was superb. The decor was lovely very stylish. I loved that we were in an area that was accessible to public transportation. I was able to jump on the bus and go to grand Villa and Plaza de España. There was a local market down the street where in case you want to buy water and fruit and yogurt and just necessities that you may want in your room I highly recommend the hotel when we go back to Madrid I will be staying there.

Really great location near parks, transit and the royal palace. We used it as our hub for trips to other cities. Staff were really nice even though my Spanish is hardly worth attempting. They were also flexible about storage between our two stays. You could certainly use their breakfast buffet every morning, but we found a really nice cafe down the block that was great too.

The hotel has a great central location, it’s walking distance to Gran Via and Principe Pio. The room was perfect for a few nights stay, cosy and welcoming. Breakfast had a variety of choices and we were especially pleased with the timings, as it finished later than other hotels and that’s welcoming when you want to sleep in a bit more.
