You get what you paid for, however the 5 stars rating is not accurate. Staff is friendly and helpful, the location is great, with some shops and restaurants just a couple of minutes walking. The rooms/facilities are outdated, and shows the long time use they have been through. If you are looking for a safe, clean and good value place to stay, this is a good option. If you are looking for a 5 stars experience……you will be disappointed.

i feel the property and staff are a bit dated .the hotel as clean as it appears to be is in need of a major renovation . it’s deco charm needs to be updated .. I booked three nights but could not stay the third night … My choice to move was a sound choice based on two full nights.. The price was fair and If you are looking for a simple place to stay all aok. If you are looking for something cleaner and more modern there are other choices that would reflect a seasoned travelers needs and amenities ..

I always stay at the Ambassador when I am in Delhi. It is close to Khan market, Lodi garden and a metro station. The staff are all excellent and always make me feel very welcome. It is my home away from home in Delhi. Love this hotel.

The staff where extremely helpful at all times.The food is top quality but a little on the expensive side. 2 meals and an alcohol drink 10000 rupees or £100. I love this humble hotel. It may be a dash faded, but it's vibe is warm. One of the best breakfasts, too. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. My room was clean and simple. The location may be the best--a minute walk to Khan market. It's a quiet place, nostalgic-feeling.
