The hotel is located close to Cedar Point and my family and I enjoyed our stay at the South shore inn. The rooms were clean and the staff is friendly. Continental breakfast is included and was nice . We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to cedar point.

The hotel was great for our needs, which was going to Cedar Point. Rooms were very nice and we alos enjoyed the pool area. Breakfast was a solid continental breakfast with pancakes. My son forgot his Beats Ear Bud and they were great at getting it back to us in another state. Can't ask for more than that with our great stay. Thank you! Would defintiely stay again!

Was spending time at cedar point and for the price is a really good place to stay. Friendly staff and close to the park. Neighbors was a little noisy but with bike week it wasn't bad! Great place!

We stayed 3 nights while visiting Cedar Point. Location was perfect to get to the park and the downtown area quickly. Older building, but dont be fooled it was very clean and comfortable for a family of 4. Pool and Hot tub area were a great place to gather at the end of the day. Breakfast was good each day!

This hotel was very close to downtown Sandusky for bike week. The family run Hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We loved the classic and vintage style of the Hotel. We will definitely stay here next year for Mike. We can recommend this place to our friends.

Location is very good. Room just ok. Room was smelly, bedding sheets on one bed had red spots, pillows were terrible. $25 charge if you want to check in before 4 p.m. Will not recomend.

It was an okay trip. We stayed overnight during the holiday. Staff was very nice, very helpful. Cleanliness was good, continental breakfast was good. The bed was very hard and the pillows were uncomfortable. The main entry light was out so it was dark coming in until we could find the switch to the outside bathroom sink. The double sinks was a nice touch. Other than that, the stay was fine.

Great place for the weekend. Cheaper option with a good breakfast for the kids if you dont want a restaurant style one. Kids had fun playing on swingset with other kids. Overall a great time regardless.

It’s an older hotel that appears to have been renovated. It seems like other options in the area are also older. A nice feature was a well taken care of pool with slides and a hot tub, also a fire pit to make marshmallows. But maybe the best of all was the service. People running the hotel were very friendly and accommodating. Just a really nice atmosphere.

Stayed with my daughter for a volleyball tournament. It was a very basic, clean, comfortable stay. The only negative was the lack of coffee machine in the room. Other than that, it was perfect for what we needed.

The service way amazing, I had car trouble and had to leave early and cancel several nights of my stay and all of the staff was very kind helpful and understanding. The room was clean and tidy. The only thing that I noticed that I didn't care for was that our room door to the outside wasn't flush with the ground. There was probably at least 1 cm or more of a gap from the bottom of the door to the ground. I don't know if that is the same for all rooms or just the one we had. But other than for that it was a very nice place and was very centrally located and I would stay there again.
