Lovely people at reception and bar areas. Warm welcome etc. Room was well equipped and clean. Bed was very comfortable and a good size. Breakfast was very good, although a bit limited on fruit and yogurts etc. Would definitely stay again even though I did not visit the zoo, which was not a noisy place to stay!

Room looked very tired and was cold upon arrival However an electric heater was available in the room. Member of staff was immediately attentive when advised of noise from water pipes in next room. Issue was resolved promptly. Very quiet in the restaurant; food was good.

This is our second stay at the Marwell Hotel Winchester. Even with a wedding in the main building, there was no noise in the rooms - superb planning :-) a 10 minute drive into Winchester, plenty of parking without any issues, a lovely pool for a morning swim. Friendly helpful staff.

"Treetops" in Hampshire.

Unique experience. "Treetops" in Hampshire! Well, thirty years ago maybe. Perfect for visiting the Zoo, one minute walk entrance to entrance! Clean and comfortable. Refreshing to find a hotel where the heating is a controlable radiator and the patio doors open fully onto a balcony for every room. Good breakfast btw. Friendly, approachable staff and a proper key to your door. Dated and in need of redecoration in places (no, please don't) I liked it!
