Thanks mostly to the amazing staff, and the amenities the resort has to offer our stay was pleasant overall. Our room had a nice view on the putting green and 1st tee block, but windows were unfortunately poorly washed to allow a clear enough view and provide an enjoyable bedroom-view experience. Room had been somewhat "renovated" with a very thin carpet and some renewed decoration, however humidity was constantly present despite running the AC all the time. The very small bathroom was very much dated and would need some overdue TLC, if not a full makeover. The 2 beds were quite comfortable and allowed us to rest conveniently.

We love going to Mill River every year and we aren’t even golfers! They’ve renovated the resort beautifully with local art, wool blankets and great style. The only place that could use improvement is the slow service at the restaurant and maybe a chef would help improve it. The staff are amazing and so friendly. We will be back!

We arrived late evening (8ish) on a Saturday night. The room smelled strongly like mushrooms— sign of mold— so we had them switch us to a different room. Front desk staff was very helpful and polite. Second room had minor maintenance issues (loose doorknobs and loose tub faucet). Went to have dinner at the bar and it was a mess like everyone had partied hard and left. Bartender was very slow and overwhelmed and didn’t know how to make the signature drinks. Food was just fine. Hot tub was nice. Our stay was comfortable but not the 4 star resort experience we expected.
