Nice quiet area with useful onsite free car parking.Easy walk into Sandymount village with some nice restaurants.It is also possible to walk to the beach or drive further down the coast to Blackrock,Sandycove and Dalkey The hotel is clean and well maintained and the staff friendly .

Lovely well maintained hotel with the most Helpful polite staff on reception, In the bar & waiting staff, amazing room attendants. We had a Fantastic evening meal, I can honestly say one of the best vegetarian curries I've ever had. There's a well set out buffet breakfast with plenty of options, excellent comfortable beds, we was brought extra pillows within 30mins of request. Our room had a good quiet tower fan which we used at night. Our room had a shower over a bath.

We were impress with clean rooms and helpful staff. The only suggestion i could make is the air con in the rooms as we were very lucky with the weather. The hotel had so many cosy sitting areas which is great for relaxing and we found the bar was very reasnable priced. The location is also good as only 2 stops to town by train.

We had a lovely stay at the Sandymount Hotel in Dublin! The hotel is charming, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic. The location was also great. It was quiet enough to relax but convenient for getting around Dublin. Our only real complaint was the elevator being out of order. After a long day of sightseeing, discovering that our room was basically at the top of a small mountain was not exactly the Irish adventure we had in mind!Lugging suitcases up the stairs was definitely a workout we hadn’t packed for. Thankfully a gracious porter carried mine. My husband, however, was left to fend for himself. That said, the wonderful staff and overall experience more than made up for the elevator situation. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back, assuming the elevator has decided to cooperate by then!

The hotel was very nice, in a beautiful neighborhood and the breakfast was great. The room was downstairs and a little on the small side for three people. Beautiful hotel for a reasonable price for one night.
