The hotel does not have a lift, there was no wardrobe in the room - we had to keep clothes on hooks on the entrance door, breakfast was in another hotel across the square, the equipment in the bathroom was aged The Reception staff though was friendly and they tried to be helpful

I was my first time at The Herbert and it was wonderful. The staff went out of their way to assist me. The hotel itself and the rooms are kept very clean. Rooms was nicely decorated with a large bathroom. Lobby area is very inviting, coffee and snacks are available. Housekeeping also does an amazing job. Breakfast is offered in the hotel opposite as a buffet. Plenty of choice for everybody

The location was really great. The staff was very professional and helpful. A big thank you to Irina and the other guy I can't remember the name who made our stay more memorable. The room was very small and I didn't like to have to cross the street to the Herbert opera hotel in the morning for breakfast. This term was not disclosed before or during booking. I think this is unfair for guests to only know this important details after they confirm their booking.

Unfortunately, the bathroom flooded because there was no rubber seal under the shower door! I didn't like the shower curtain setup—it's awkward when your partner is watching you! The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so I had to carry my bags myself! Breakfast wasn't included. For the price I paid, this hotel isn't worth it!

Nice midsize hotel at the beachfront of Tel Aviv

The hotel is located in the perfect location to be in Tel Aviv, just meter away from the beach in a central part. It is very stylishly furnished and very comfortable. Standard rooms are very small, but cosy and nice. The breakfast is served across the street in the much larger Herbert Samuel hotel - the best breakfast buffet ever.
