This is a lovely old hotel right in the middle of Cork. It was very convenient for walking to many attractions within the city with lots of dining options available close by. The breakfast was very good and certainly worth the extra to book it. I would recommend checking with the parking attendant to make sure you use the right car park (if driving) as there are a few along the St Patrick Quay. This was very handy for the hotel.

Friendly staff, clean room. No aircon (not that that would be a problem normally in Cork) - room did have a fan. "Full Irish" breakfast came with beans and a hash brown (controversial IMO). Great location, very central - walking distance from everything. They've a deal with the car park next door too. Would stay again.

Great old school hotel. Amazing staff let me check in early. Unfortunately the elevator was out the morning I departed so I had to lug my bags downstairs. Fortunately a nice traveler helped me and I was only on the second floor. Still it was a major hassle. Glad I budgeted extra time to get to the bus which was practically across the street and was headed to Shannon Airport. Great bars nearby too!
