This was our second visit to this hotel which was a very pleasant stay.The staff were all very nice and the room was very clean with high ceilings.The room had a useful safe.The tram stop is only at the end of the road (100 yards)and runs to the town centre every few minutes and also to the metro line which goes out to the airport. Will stay here when we visit Prague again next year.

Pros Excellent breakfast. Health options. Meat, cheese, three types of eggs, fruit, pastries, salad, yogurts and a full array of coffees and teas. Beds were very comfortable Cons Dated hotel. Rooms are tiny. One chair provided. Very little room to move around. Shower was a handheld nozzle in a bathtub. Bathtub was very tall. I had no problem getting out but my wife did. Especially since water would leak onto the floor, making for a slippery exit from the shower. NO AIR CONDITIONING. We arrived during a heat wave. The building is old and our room was like an oven. We were provided with a fan that provided little relief. We actually booked another hotel for three days to get air conditioning to get relief. We were given Room 401. Right across from the elevator and right in front of an area where a half dozen maids would congregate, store linens and talk loudly outside our door that had a “Do not Disturb” sign on it. It was annoying.

Positive points: - Nice location: close to public transport but the walk to the city center is very nice, passing through parks and pretty streets - Clean and cozy room with everything that is needed - Generous and variated breakfast Negative points: - A bit old: furniture shows signs of heavy use - No air conditioning: when I visited the hotel it was 30 degrees outside, so it was very warm in the room - Fridge could use some cleaning
