The helpful staff made check in easy. We had a dining reservation and highly recommend doing so anywhere you stay in the UK as they tend to plan food orders by the bookings made. The food served for dinner at the restaurant was just okay.

Clean comfortable bed with comfy pillows and duvet shower was nice and clean plenty of towels and the wee coffee station was fab everything was conveniently set up I really liked having nice cool water in the fridge too. One thing that stood out to me in this hotel was the staff they were all very lovely really helpful and generally happy to help from the cleaning staff to front house and bar staff everyone was giving top customer service and for that reason alone I would visit again

Everyone we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful. There was some work going on to the exterior of the building though that did not have any impact on our stay. Staff were lovely and helpful. The food was fantastic, I thoroughly recommend the cocktail bar and the leisure facilities. I have no doubt we will return. Thanks

My friend and I had an excellent stay. The room was clean and spacious. Great shower and fluffy towels. Beds were comfy and good pillows. The fridge and tea, coffee and biscuits were a great touch too. The personalised duck was super cute. We also had drinks in the bar which were great and decor is lush. Easy to walk to the train station and restaurants.

Fab stay, all staff very friendly and helpful from first hellos to last goodbyes. Perfect stay, wish we had more time to use all the facilities but it was our base for Radio 2 in the Park - taxis to the venue arranged by reception and lovely to escape the crowds to our comfy bed, warm shower and loads of space in the room to relax. Also enjoyed drinks in the cocktail bar on Saturday night - too tired on Sunday! Again friendly helpful staff checking all ok. Breakfast was amazing both days, plenty of selection and lovely airy dining room.

our bedroom required a good make over, and a new bed, not a comfortable sleep, and old worn furniture for such a prestige's Hotel. we would have had a great view from out window if it had cleaned, very of putting Staff were happy and helpful Food was was good - but the restaurant was dusty i used to stay in this hotel on regular basis, not the same hotel it once was.

We were delighted to be upgraded to an Executive Double which was spacious, comfortable and well provided for sockets. Wi-fi was very good. All staff we met were professional, polite and keen to ensure guests needs were met. The only issue we raised at check out was one we have raised before with Apex Hotels. We totally agree with minimising need for daily towel changes but there is nowhere to hang used towels after use! There was easily wall space for such a rail so this is disappointing. Also, again in the bathroom, the hooks on the back of door were way too high for me and I am an average height woman. These are minor practicalities but could maybe be fed back to your design team.

Friendly receptionist, good room. Breakfast with good quality ingredients. Attractive grounds. The hotel is being refurbished, with lots of tradesmen’s vans when we left in the morning, but it didn’t affect our stay.
