We are currently on a long road trip with 9 stops. The Holiday Inn Express was our 6th hotel, and it was by far the best. We arrived too late to enjoy the hot tub but were pleasantly surprised that it opened at 5:30 AM. My husband, our son, and I got to enjoy the pool and hot tub all to ourselves the next morning then enjoy a nice hot breakfast before exploring the coast and Redwoods. Having stayed at so many hotels with poor AC, dingy bathtooms, weak water ptessure, rock hard beds, etc., it was so worth it to pay a little extra to enjoy the comfort and cleanliness at this hotel. My husband thought the bed was a tad firm, but I had zero complaints. I wish all Holiday Inn hotels were this nice!

This was a perfect stay for a white water rafting weekend. The hotel had all of the necessary amenities, a full breakfast, the staff were professional and gracious. The room was spacious with a nice sized refrigerator and microwave. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise, I would definitely recommend it and stay again.
