This is a charming old fashioned beach resort. The restaurant is very good, there's a nice beach, and several options for rooms or cabins. It is family-friendly. It isn't fancy, but the staff are friendly and it is clean and comfortable. It is convenient for visitors to the Cape Breton Highlands National Park. At night, the stars are fantastic.

This is a wonderful place to stay. We were upgraded to a suite which was very nice. Bed was very comfortable. We really loved that we could walk to the beach within a few minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is perfect for hiking and the property has a beach front to watch the sunrise. However, the amenities are old and the kitchenette does not have a stove top. A barbeque is available. It was overall a good stay. Its just that the cost makes it difficult to give it a higher rating. Having said that, the cost of rentals are high all around the area.

Perfect place to unwind with kids. Rooms were spacious and super clean, staff was helpful and proximity to the beach is A+. As a parent travelling with kids, this is best place for everyone to enjoy. They also have BBQ for each cottage which was an added bonus. The only downside was breakfast, as restaurants near this place either were closed or open late during off season.

As other reviewers have mentioned this wonderful location is dragged down by very tired cabins and facilities. We arrived early and dropping our bags off seemed like an inconvenience. We c arrived back at check in time to be told room wasn't ready. Simple apologies would be enough but we had to listen to the staffing shortages etc It was, almost like we were the inconvenience Facilities are limited bar opens 7 to 10 Room was clean except floors felt very gritty/ unswept. Up side was bar lady and restaraunt manager very responsive and the food was enjoyable
