Run-down hotel

I’ve stayed at this location on a number of occasions, but the state of this place is absolutely disappointing. I hope the owner performs major maintenance and upgrades. Otherwise, it shouldn’t be listed as an option for Hotels.com

Fine from afar but far from fine.

The hotel definitely doesn’t look as nice as the pictures in the listing. Maybe 15 years ago but not today. It’s a bit run down and a little dirty in some places but the staff really did try to make the stay as good as it was going to get. Can’t complain much because it was cheap.

Dirty, run down building, inside and out. The bed had no blankets; I had to push my wheelchair aLL THE WAY BACK TO THE LOBBY TO ASK FOR SOME BECAUSE THERE WAS NO PHONE IN THE ROOM. Waited and waited - it was late at night, I'd had a huge day, I needed to lie down and rest and had just paid $167 to do just that. But the blankets didn't arrive, and the room was freezing. Finally canceled my reservation, left, slept in my car.

Me an my daughter r waiting on our apartment to open up an wr hopped from place to place an to ve hinest this has beenna decent stay the front desk guy manager was amazing we booked a queen suiet with couch was not available but he got me annmy daughter in a room each for noe with one room price for the mishap. Fine for the price, the gym is a little run down and the general decor is dated. Some of the kitchens in rooms don’t have similar utensils or pots/pans. Otherwise a fine hotel, it’s walkable to a nearby Aldis and other stores. Not super noisy, but occasionally has people milling around in the parking lot. Staff is very friendly and helpful though!

My second stay, fine for the price. Cons are the building is dated, the amenities are fine but the gym equipment is well loved and children came in to play on equipment. Didn’t use the laundry room but its near the gym and got a lot of use. Kitchen had different dishes and utensils than my previous visit. Pros are staff is friendly and helpful, good for the price, and walkable to restaurants and stores. The neighborhood is not really all that unsafe despite folks hanging out in the parking lot. Relatively quiet despite being near 494. Again affordable and nice people.

The wastebasket was hidden inside a cabinet in the bathroom. On the first night, electrical maintenance was being performed and cords were sticking out of the ceiling like stalactites. There was no fork amongst the silverware in the room, so I had to request one from the front desk. However, things improved during my stay. The carpets were vacuumed, and the maintenance was completed.

Place was overbooked, im stubborn though. You take my money you give me a room. Easy as that. Ac was trash. Didn’t keep my room cool at all. Most times I thought the heater was on. No towels in bathroom had to go and ask for towels.
