An old building that is slowly being renovated but still has original fixtures eg air conditioning controls that are not user friendly. Ocean view rooms have spectacular outlooks but north facing harbour view rooms have unspectacular views and are exposed to the summer sun and therefore could be very warm in the middle of the day.

Noah’s sits on a bluff above Newcastle Beach. There is nothing like watching the ocean rollers coming in and most of the time a dozen or more surfers taking their rides. Breakfast is typical English style breakfast with an Aussie twist, lamb sausages for instance. When my flight was unexpectedly cancelled, the staff immediately helped me figure out what to do. I’ll stay here again.
