Absolutely wonderful stay. We feel very lucky to have found this place and meet the people here. They arranged our tour to the desert after a simple mention and they were very very flexible with our needs and wants. We felt very at home here. The staff is very kind/caring. The rooms were spectacular and the beds comfortable. The food provided was amazing. Service was phenomenal and it felt more like staying with friends than commercialized interaction. Would recommend to friends families and couples visiting the Sahara dunes.

Disappointing

I was excited about this place, having read the 5 star reviews. However, what I read in the reviews did not jive with our experience there. The place appears to be quite run down. The furniture in the rooms was tattered and dirty, the toilet was loose from the floor, the towels were well-worn and hard and felt like they weren’t clean. I realized why when I went in the public bathroom - I was filthy beyond belief and there was a very old washer/spin dryer there which appears to be what the staff used for the towels. There were Christmas decorations and a Happy New Year sign in the dining room. It’s like the place had been unused for a while and no one bothered to freshen it up despite having guests. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was nice enough. There were workers there while we were there, redoing some of the wall area, and they were hanging about well into the evening and had tools and gravel all about right in front of our door. The worst thing was in the morning when we woke and went outside, we noticed a few men sleeping in the courtyard and by the pool on the benches. They did not appear to be staff. It made us uncomfortable. Perhaps they were the men working on the wall but in any case, I thought it was quite inappropriate. I usually trust Hotels reviews but this really made me think twice.

Fantastiska Dar Tafouyte

Vi bodde tre nätter på Dar Tafouyte och stortrivdes varje minut. Boendet ligger i ett säkert, lugnt område och är fantastiskt hemtrevligt och mysigt. Boendet är smakfullt inrett med små och stora personliga unika detaljer. Poolen var underbar att ha tillgång till under de heta varma dagarna, våra barn 10 och 12 år kunde inte få nog av den. Utöver själva boendet så kan man inte önska sig en bättre värd än Brahim och hans team. Han är vänlig, hjälpsam, proaktiv och uppmärksam. Jag kan inte nog rekommendera detta boende. Vi kommer tillbaka 🙏☀︎

Excellent

Le cadre est magnifique et l'accueil très agréable. La vue sur les dunes du Sahara rend la baignade incroyable ! Le personnel a été extrêmement accueillant et nous a même proposé de profiter de la piscine tout le reste de la journée après avoir libéré notre chambre, jusqu'à notre départ pour une nuit dans le désert. Les repas étaient excellents ! Un grand merci à Dar Tafouyte !

Una struttura veramente carina, vicinissima alle dune del Sahara. Abbiamo dormito in una stanza tripla veramente grande e con aria condizionata , veramante utile ad agosto viste le alte temperature. La colazione è ottima ed abbondante. Abbiamo cenato 2 volte al Dar Tafouyte e la cena era squisita, sia le varie tajine che gli spiedini di pollo. Abbiamo anche usufruito dei servizi della struttura, abbiamo fatto un giro in 4x4 fra le dune del sahara ed abbiamo visto il tramonto nel Sahara a dorso di cammello, un esperienza indimenticabile a prezzi molto contenuti. La struttura è anche dotata di una bella poscina, utilissima per rinfrescarsi a tutte le ore, anche la notte. Che dire, un hotel veramente ottimo temperature.condi
