We knew the restaurant wasn’t going to be open as we were staying on a Monday, what wasn’t expected was that the hotel reception would close by 5pm and breakfast wouldn’t be until 8am. The room was lovely and clean. The area was the same. But a hotel should have 24hr reception and breakfast from 6am on weekdays.

Sooo friendly!

Fantastic place. Not fancy, but clean, friendly and just a great stay! Restaurant closed Mondays, but a nearby restaurant "Klippe" took care of us:-) after dark, we had to figure out to use the side door with our key card, but got it to work. Breakfast was great, staff amazing. Ate at restaurant the next day and it was fabulous! Also- the 'conference room' area has an honorary system: take a snack, beer or wine and deposit some cash into a little piggy bank! Love it!!!!

Die Anlage überzeugt zunächst mit einem wirklich tollen Design. Wir haben in einer Lodge übernachtet und uns optisch sofort wohlgefühlt. Leider gab es aber einige Punkte, die den Aufenthalt weniger angenehm gemacht haben. Der größte Minuspunkt war das fehlende Klimasystem. Bereits bei Temperaturen über 20 Grad wurde die Luft in der Lodge extrem stickig. Es gibt nur wenige kleine Fenster zum Öffnen, allerdings ohne Insektenschutz, was in der warmen Jahreszeit unangenehm ist. Erholsamer Schlaf war dadurch schwierig. Auch die Sauberkeit hätte besser sein können – der Boden wirkte nicht vollständig gereinigt. Das Badezimmer ist modern gestaltet, aber für Familien nicht ganz praktisch eingerichtet. Es gibt zwar eine schmale Ablagefläche in der Nähe des Waschbeckens, aber kaum Möglichkeiten, alle Duschtücher und persönliche Sachen sinnvoll unterzubringen. Das Frühstück war insgesamt gut und qualitativ ordentlich, allerdings nicht optimal. Es gab nur eine Sorte griechischen Joghurt, keinen Fruchtjoghurt und bei den süßen Speisen lediglich kleine Croissants, keine weitere Auswahl an Kuchen oder Gebäck. Das Personal war freundlich, wirkte bei Rückfragen zu den genannten Punkten jedoch eher begrenzt hilfsbereit. Auf die angesprochenen Mängel wurde leider nicht eingegangen. Positiv hervorheben möchten wir das Essen im à-la-carte-Restaurant – das war wirklich sehr gut. Insgesamt eine schöne Anlage mit tollem Design, bei Komfort und Service gibt es aber noch Verbesserungsbedarf.

Uns hat der Aufenthalt in der Villa Bodeblick sehr gut gefallen. Sehr zuvorkommendes und gastfreundliches Personal. Unser Zimmer war sauber, einladend und gemütlich. Das Hotel ist gepflegt und hat eigene Parkplätze. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist für ein Hotel dieser Größenordnung völlig angemessen von der Auswahl her. Alles war lecker und frisch - die Brötchen wirklich sehr lecker. Das Abendessen haben wir nicht getestet. Die Lage des Hotels in Schierke ist wunderbar. 2 Minuten Fußmarsch zum Italiener, 1 weitere Minute zum "Luis", wo es Burger und ähnliches gibt. Bushaltestelle in der Nähe. Uns ist aufgefallen, dass es scheinbar keinen Fahrstuhl gibt. Wir würden empfehlen, ggf. vorher einmal anzurufen, um ein Zimmer im EG zu erhalten oder sonstige Möglichkeiten zu besprechen, wenn dies ein Problem sein sollte. Die helfen garantiert gerne weiter. Wir können das Hotel uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden es wieder besuchen.
