The bedroom and bathroom were lovely, the breakfasts amazing, the staff always happy to help and the location just off the A590 was perfect for exploring the whole Lake District. My only rejoinder was that the stairs to the rooms are a little challenging for someone like me who is mobility impaired. Additional banisters and/or handles would greatly help but I managed overall and we were very happy with our stay. Evening meals were exceptional too. The Ees Wyke is a true country inn with magnificent grounds and views of the countryside and lake. We stayed in the Lilac room which was large and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake.
