I found the hotel was kept very clean. The rooms are small we had 2 queen beds and a kitchen table with only one chair which I found odd as 4 people are in a room. The bathroom was very small and this particular hotel did not have a grab bar in the bath tub. Nothing to hold on to. There was an arm chair in the room that had fabric ripped off.

Our room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately though, our bathroom sink leaked and was hard to turn off fully as there was a bit of a drip. They also only had body wash in the shower and no shampoo, conditioner or body lotion. We asked the front desk for some lotion and they were happy to provide it. The continental breakfast was ok, always replenished but I didn’t see any decaf coffee, which is what I drink. Overall, I would stay again as we had a good night sleep and it was centrally located.

Booked queen beds, got doubles instead. Woke up in the morning to a room full of aunts, literally hundreds all over the desk and wall. The "Fitness Room" was probably the worst I have seen. Almost everything was damaged, broken and such poor quality it was useless. The "Breakfast" was cereal, toast, bananas, yogurt, and week coffee. Avoid the place at all costs. The hotel is one step above a run down dump.

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights. The young man who did check in was very friendly and helpful. When we went to our room it was very clean and well maintained. The room was larger than I had expected with a fridge, microwave, stove top and coffee maker. Glad we stayed and will definetly use Howard Johnsons next time we are in the area.

Vollkommen ausreichend für einen kurzen Aufenthalt. Wir haben es als Zwischenstop für unsere Reise in den Algonquin Park genutzt und waren voll zufrieden. Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sauber, die Betten bequem und ausreichend Parkplätze vorhanden. In ca. 30 Minuten Fußweg kann man an die Seepromenade laufen. Das Hotel hat keinen Pool.

Room was clean, a strange smell on the staircase and corridor due to very old carpet. Staff was courteous, parking good, airconditioning proper. The layout is good as eateries, stores and market is close by, Also the park and lake is nearby. Overall not a bad experience. Breakfast could have been better, it was just bread, bagels and tea. Very basic not even boiled eggs.
