We really enjoyed this place and all the perks like the cereal bar/mini market in the shared space . The views were lovely and it felt very modern though we were staying in a historic building . We did not have any interaction with staff but everything was clearly marked so it was an easy stay !
We were lucky Fussen had no vacancies so we ventured out to Pfrontener Hof and were happy we did. The next-door ski lift up the mountain made for a great day of hiking and views. Dinner options in Pfrontener were also good and easy to get a table. If you are looking for a quiet place with great views away from crowds, I'd suggest you try here.
The manager was extremely helpful and went way beyond only what he had to do to help us during an emergency situation ! We will be forever grateful to him and his staff.
The property is located close to the beautiful mountains and close to town. It is a vintage structure but everything works fine.
We came for a week of rest and found it here. Service was courteous and we especially enjoyed getting to know some of the waitstaff whom were more interactive with us and our dog. Very pet friendly hotel! The views were spectacular as we were able to enjoy a beautiful winter snowscape and as the weather warmed, we saw peeks of green and the beautiful color of the lake. Great location. We had a large terrace with amazing views of the castle and mountains. Rooms were large with ample space. Hotel offered two restaurants and a complimentary breakfast each day. Also offered free parking.
We had a fantastic stay and wished it had been longer! The restaurant in the hotel is delicious and they source everything locally. The staff was friendly and kind. Everything about this hotel was wonderful.
We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Hirsch overall and would consider staying there again if we were going to be in the area. The front of the building reminds me of something out of a Wes Anderson film, and the inside is equally cute and comfortable with an updated, yet traditional Bavarian feel. Our room had wood flooring and a rug, which is something I don't often see in hotels! Dinner at the hotel restaurant was an enjoyable experience as well.

Hotel Waldman is a jewel. This wonderfully charming family run hotel and restaurant is gorgeously surrounded by picturesque Bavarian country side and snow capped mountains. The food is just as spectacular as the views, and their hospitality makes this enchanted place feel as much like home as it does a fairy tale.
