Enjoyed my stay. The staff is pleasant and makes the experience superb. There are vendors that solicit once you step off the lodge and onto the beach. The staff does a terrific job of maintaining the privacy when on the property.
You will see monkeys, who are approachable for photos, but please do not feed, as they will take this as an invitation to grab all of your food. The monkeys are not intrusive and the staff are ready to shooo the monkeys away, but of you feed them, then you have extended the invitation for them to take your food.
Explore the city on a tuk tuk, and enjoy the local culture. While there, I experienced their famous barbershop service which includes a face massage, neck massage and hair wash.
Enjoy your stay, sleep well. The bed was fabulous with a thick mosquito net. I didn’t experience many mosquitoes, I was there in early September.
As with any all-inclusive, the menu begins to repeat, but I was there for 12 days. The food was delicious.
I plan on returning again.
