I highly recommend La Fortuna Lodge if your staying here. Everyone is so nice and attentive from the front desk to the people that serve breakfast included. They even cleaned our rooms daily and made sure for our specific breakfast and times. And security is top tier . I would definitely stay here again!

We were very pleased with this property, the view from room 27 balcony of the volcano was incredible, we woke up both mornings to see full visibility. Breakfast was delicious, staff was super friendly and helpful. Location was perfect for walking downtown.

Very pleased with this cute boutique like lodge in La Fortuna . The rooms are good size, complimentary breakfast was an absolute plus . And walking distance to a lot of restaurants, bakery , coffee shops etc . And could uber within a 10-20 minute ride to arenal, chocolate tours and other attractions . Definitely a good place to stay when in fortuna .

I had an amazing experience at La Fortuna Lodge! The staff went above and beyond to help get shuttles and book my excursions. The breakfast and coffee were great! I could walk everywhere or quickly get an uber whenever I wanted. Beautiful place and would definitely go back.

Wonderful Stay with Outstanding Service, 2nd visit this year. Our stay was nice, quiet, and peaceful. The customer service—especially from Daniel and the rest of the staff—was excellent. I truly appreciated their attentiveness and responsiveness. I had a small incident where I accidentally left my sweater behind as we were checking out. To my surprise and appreciation, the staff reached out to let me know and held it for me until I could retrieve it. That level of care really stood out. The rooms were clean, the daily breakfast was great, and the cooks did a fantastic job. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. We definitely look forward to staying here again in the future. If you’re looking for something simple, quiet, and clean—with genuinely great customer service—I highly recommend this place.

My favorite hotel on my first trip to Costa Rica! Staff was very helpful, welcoming and kind. It had a gorgeous view of Volcán Arenal! Cute deck common area with lots of lounging and games. Hotel was clean and facilities were excellent. Functioning A/C, fan, TV and internet. Common areas quiet and inviting and location is convenient to downtown La Fortuna. The breakfast included was also great! The staff made me a turtle out of towels for my birthday alongside balloons, which was above and beyond and very thoughtful.
